Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2. 0 Twin Spark. LHD
This GTV Originally from Tuscany has been fitted with a Twinspark injected engine from a 75 paired to a crunch free gearbox. It has later style 75 indicator/ wiper stalks, electric windows & benefits from a Power steering conversion. Tan Recaro interior. Wheels have been refurbished & has fairly new tyres, sits on some Koni Red shocks.
Has the Alfa Certificato Di Origine from Italy. MOT & Tax Exempt.
Within the last 3000 miles she has had a new Clutch, Slave cylinder, new front brake calipers, new rear Calipers, discs & pads, Front wheel bearing, New Propshaft doughnut. Very solid underneath.
Although she polishes up to look respectable the paint is not the best & is now at the point that the bodywork should have some attention.
She drives well & is quite sprightly with the Twinspark conversion although I noticed the other day after a while in storage when I used her that although idling fine there is a slight missing under load which I haven’t had time to investigate. I purchased 5years ago with the great intentions of creating a Retro Mod with throttle bodies etc (ala Alfaholics but a 116GTV) I’ve realised eventually! that’s unlikely to happen anytime soon. This, and the fact that I just don’t get the chance to use it that much anymore are the reasons I’ve decided to offer her for sale as nice running project for another to take on. Competitively priced I hope to avoid timewasters…
