Number 564 of 1190 produced for the 1989 928 US Market.
Imported into the UK in 2023, showing mileage of 123, 187 with a clean carfax record. Rust-free with a significant amount of money spent to bring it to the condition it is today. Leather work by Paul Champagne really makes the interior shine, contrasting with black carpets and Porsche Mats. The engine bay is in fantastic condition, adding to the overall appearance of a special car.
Finished in the original factory colour of Silver with a cream leather interior.
Recommission work, including an engine rebuild to a total cost of €23, 000, was carried out in August 2023 by renowned 928 specialist, Paul Anderson. Further improvement work in November 2025 costing €4, 400, which also included the fitment of a Ritech Clamp.
Now showing 124, 250, some 1000 miles after the car’s major recommission work.
Stored in storage, maintained to 55% humidity. The car is near concourse, which would be expected of a ex-museum car.
In 2012, at 114, 000 miles, mechanical restoration work was carried out to include an X-Pipe and Rear Muffler Bypass (RMB) to significantly enhance the V8 exhaust note, with a Blistine and Wibach suspension upgrade for a “fast-road” setup, making the 928 feel tighter and more agile. Work also included the rebuild of Brembos, including Powder coating, Zimmerman Rotors with Stainless Steel brake lines, stainless steel oil lines, hoses, seals, and work on the engine bay to enhance its appearance.
