Motors Corner is delighted to present this Porsche 928 S4, first registered on 22 February 1989, supplied new in Germany by Autohaus Krauss in Nuremberg and now held on a French historic vehicle registration (carte grise de collection). The 928 S4 is fitted with the five-litre four-camshaft V8 producing 320 horsepower, here paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
This example is finished in metallic grey with light grey leather interior and has covered 176, 500 km. It comes with a file including the Porsche service book, warranty book, 928 S technical manual and a selection of recent invoices from Porsche specialists. An independent inspection carried out in April 2024 classes the car as condition 3, meaning 'good condition'.
Mechanical:
The five-litre fuel-injected V8 starts at the first quarter turn, with a stable idle and linear rev build-up, free from vibration or abnormal noise. The five-speed manual gearbox works correctly and the clutch master cylinder is new. The car is fitted with a stainless steel silencer.

The cabin is in original patina, trimmed in light grey leather. The steering wheel, front seats and rear bench are in good presentable condition. Please note the dashboard trim has shrunk slightly from sun exposure, and the headliner is beginning to come away.
Exterior:
The bodywork is in good presentable condition, in its original colour. The paintwork has been redone in the past and shows some minor finish defects. Panel alignment is good and the closures line up satisfactorily. The spoiler is new. No signs of corrosion have been found. The glass is well preserved and the windscreen is free from scratches or chips. The car sits on its 18-inch Turbo wheels, in good condition, shod with Pirelli P Zero tyres.
