An original UK-delivered car, this is number 67 (number 17 of the Canal Blue cars). This is an unmodified example of Mitsubishi’s lesser-seen homologation special, released in celebration of Tommi Mäkinen’s four consecutive WRC drivers' titles.
Under the bonnet is a turbocharged 2. 0-litre inline-four, delivering 276bhp to all four wheels through an engaging five-speed manual transmission.
The underbody was fully restored and the cam belt was replaced in September 2022.
Introduced in December 1999 to commemorate Tommi Mäkinen’s four World Rally Championship victories, the Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen features a purposeful redesigned lower suspension with revised dampers, a helical front limited-slip differential, and a faster-spooling titanium turbocharger.
