Description
Kawasaki GPz900R A7 Model Registered April 1991 27K miles- New MOT 29. 05. 26
I have owned this epic bike now for the last 10 years, I have all the ownership history from the beginning of all the owners, handbook, spare keys, service history, MOT history, Haynes Manual and more. I bought the bike as the GPz model was part of my biking story, I have spent considerable time, effort, passion and money to improve and update this bike to a very nice presentable condition but importantly usable and reliable, starts on the button.
I bought it and rode it back home 250 miles, since then I have fully refurbished the bike over the years to include, powder coating, zinc plating original bolts & fixings, chroming, new petrol tank, mechanical refurbish including front & rear brakes & clutch line, Ice coolant with New Ramair silicone hoses, new chain & sprockets, ignition advance rotor, New Bridgestone Battlax tyres, service items and anything that needed doing. Just had a service with New Battery, New levers, oil change, air filter, new plugs and carbs overhaul running on special ICE coolant and has electric fan switch for heavy traffic/ summer temperatures.
Standard Factory Exhaust cans are mint with collector box heat painted and downpipes polished with zinc plated clamps- looks great.
Spent over £3K on it in my tenure. Cosmetically it is good but there some age related marks / wear & tear as one would expect after 3 decades.
Everything standard except for period accessory shorter rear mudguard, Progressive Front Springs, Goodridge hoses and brighter headlamp bulb, also has been data tagged with the registration number engraved into the plastics, engine covers etc so it will put off anyone stealing it - even the mirror glass is engraved. All standard side ducting around the radiator is present which are often missing- has all the fairing mounts and braces as from new- luggage hooks replated and work - helmet lock too.
Starts on the button - rides well, only selling as I have 10 bikes to look after and space is getting more limited unfortunately.
Classic barnstormer of a bike - keeps ahead of everything and always will do, I`ll miss having it but it can now go onto the next person to care , enjoy and look after this revolutionary motorcycle. Priced to sell.
Regards,
Rupert
