You know the health risks of treating yourself to fast food burgers, chips and cola at the local pub or restaurant – but you still enjoy the taste and order the large meal as a matter of course.
And you are certainly well aware that when the Ford Mustang was launched in April 1964, it was technically based on the staid Ford Falcon, was mass-produced in quality that was not always beyond doubt, and now populates internet exchanges and US car meets, among other places, in inflationary numbers – but nevertheless, it is and remains a design icon, the epitome of the ‘american dream of driving’ and unreservedly desirable.
We wholeheartedly agree with this statement and are pleased to offer you a very well-preserved example on behalf of our customer:
Manufactured on 14 January 1966 and first registered in California on 1 July 1966, our Ford Mustang V8 Coupé with the optional 289 cui V8 engine in combination with a C-4 automatic transmission, hit the highways – at that time still in the factory-fitted ‘Sahara Beige’ paintwork and with a black interior.
At some point, extensive restoration work was carried out in the USA, and with its import to Germany in 2016, the work was completed:
disassembly of the entire vehicle, extensive work on the bodywork, repainting in plain black and the repair or replacement of defective parts. A report compiled in Germany in 2016 attests to the very high quality of the entire restoration.
The Ford Mustang has remained in this good condition ever since, thanks to proper maintenance and care over the years.
