I am the 3rd owner of the car. I bought the car back in April 1989, so it's been in my ownership for almost 37 years.
It's a 1983 Alfasud, Gold Cloverleaf, 4 door hatch. It's been restored over many years - but it hasn't been a purist restoration - it's been restored to be the car I always wanted it to be.
I have so much information about the car it would be impossible to include it all here - but the basics are...
Many years ago it went to Benalfa, where the engine was swapped out for a 1700 unit from an Alfa33. The 5 speed gearbox was also rebuilt at that time. There is a full Ansa exhaust system on the car - including crossover manifolds. There are aftermarket alloys on the car but the originals will be included in the sale.
There are aftermarket suspension springs on the car which have lowered it significantly.
The interior has Recaro sports seats up front, all of the interior trim - seats and door cards, have been re-trimmed in black and grey 'leather'.
The car is complete, runs and drives, is Tax and MOT exempt, but is in good order.
There is a small amount of fettling needed to make it spot on (for a 43 year old car).
I'm open to sensible offers as I wasn't sure how to value the car. I have a box of receipts and paperwork covering alot of what has been bought for the car over the years. Including the original sales invoice when I bought the car.
I need to take more pictures - I'll do that when the weather improves.
I also have an amount of 'spares' that I have accumulated over the years, these will all be included in the sale.
