Triumph TR3A is a head-turning example of the endearing classic British open-top sports car.
Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated twin Weber 40 DCOE carburettor-fed 2. 0-litre inline-four, driving the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
This example is located in Fayence, France, and was previously imported into Denmark in 2003, the seller notes it was with the previous owner for 11 years.
This TR3A is finished in Primrose Yellow paintwork with chrome trim elements, over a black interior with white piping.
It rides on a set of 15-inch steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, wrapped in Michelin XZX tyres.
Equipment includes a complete weather protection kit, hood and side windows, black tonneau cover, mesh headlight grilles, a luggage rack with tan leather suitcase, front spotlights, a three-spoke banjo-style steering wheel, Jaeger gauges, front disc brakes, a locking glove compartment, an upgraded larger radiator for improved cooling, disc brakes at the front, and drum brakes at the rear.
It will be accompanied by its Danish registration document, and various maintenance invoices.
The cars recent service was completed in October 2025 at 15, 870 miles by DK Classic Cars, which reportedly included replacement of the oils, fluids, filters and spark plugs.
A clutch master cylinder and copper head gasket were supplied by TMDT in June 2018.
There is an invoice on file from QB Auto v/ Jesper Jensen dated November 2017. Work involved installing a new cylinder head due to faulty valves.
In October 2017, TMDT bored the cylinder heads, and fitted a gasket set, an aluminum cylinder head, pushrods, and Loctite gasket sealant.
There is an invoice on file from TMDT dated December 2015 for various engine parts and services, such as a used crankshaft, pistons, liners, thermostat, oil pump, and complete engine assembly.
