This is a very high spec road rally car (though does come with parts inc skid plates and stage springs and diff etc)
I purchased it from Manor Park classics in a few years ago. with every intention of doing some HERO events. The body is in good order but does some filler in places. No rust though.
The attractive paint colour (IslandGreen) is generally very good. It currecntly has been "debumpered" and paired back but all the bumpers, overriders and spots are included. I have tidied the dash recently, had the Bob West 4 speed race box refurbished with new clutch. Additionally I have had the floors replaced and had the chassis hangers rustproofed. I replaced the tyres with new Vredsteins. Prior to me the engine was rebuilt by Paul Inch Engine Services with new carbs, luminition, alloy rad, electric fan, twin fuel pumps, modern oil filter etc to fast road spec and all steering and suspension (springs track road ends etc) components upgraded/ replaced. It has incredible handling and positive steering feel. Braking is also to rally spec with new discs race pads, braided hoses and race linings in the rear drums. No wobbles, bangs or crashes. The underside is very good indeed. 384XVT is not pristine but a very solid and honest motorcar.
Starts on the button and never misses a beat. Large parts package inc a NEW carpet set (has rubber mats in presently)
In short Sweet Pea is a piece of historc rally folklore ready for her next challenge. Sadly I will never go rallying again hence the sales
