Description
Triumph 2500: On the car, almost every screw was loose; the mechanics were completely overhauled/ restored once. For example: all suspension bushes were replaced with poly, Koni shock absorbers installed. Engine (a higher-compression PI engine served as the basis), gearbox (Overdrive), differential, driveshaft, radiator, brake and clutch hydraulics (Stahlflex), etc... everything was overhauled, and also brought up to date visually. Mountings galvanised, new screws used. Technical refinements to improve everyday usability (electric cooling fan, Hall-effect ignition, central locking). TR6 low-profile wheels (original, not reproductions) were fitted, tyres 195/ 60 Vredestein. A stainless steel exhaust was mounted. A new clutch completes the package. The vehicle arrived from the UK about 15 years ago, was restored to the car’s value in terms of bodywork, then repeatedly preserved in the hollow spaces. Nevertheless, the underside looks “clean.” All in all, a nice, technically thoroughly overhauled daily-driver with which one can blend in discreetly. Since the technical total renovation, the Triumph has covered about 3, 000 km. The price is negotiable.
