Description
This Rudge special was previously owned by a well known and long standing , former Rudge Enthusiasts Club member who had kept the bike for over 30 years until his passing ten years or so ago. He had converted the frame to swinging arm and the bike pulled a chair for many years.
Acquired by the current owner ten years ago the bike has been stood for quite a while now and requires some care and attention.
A fast bike in it's day this bike benefits from the frame conversion making a much more confortable ride and stands out as being a quite unique pre war machine.
Registered as new in 1938 on the current V5, club correspondence shows the bike to be a 1934 model with a mistake being made by DVLA when tranferring details from the original RF60 logbook. All paperwork will accompany the bike with the sale.
