This is the first version, known as the 'letterbox' two‑headlight model, particularly sought after by collectors.
The car is finished in white with an elegant grey fabric interior and burgundy accents, displaying an original patina. French originally, this car has been in its current owner's hands for ten years and has always been kept in covered parking.

- Bodywork (2016): Entire repaint and full anti-corrosion treatment carried out by Carrosserie des Cardelines.
- Complete mechanical overhaul (2018 - R-Box specialist, €11, 315):
Full engine teardown, block machining, replacement of sleeves, pistons, valves (inlet/ exhaust) and timing chains. Replacement of the water pump, fuel pump, alternator and starter. Carburettor overhaul (replacement of two carburettors, manifolds and gasket set).
- Braking system: replacement of the master cylinder, servo, wheel cylinders, front pads, hoses and complete bleed.
- Suspension: replacement of all four shock absorbers (front/ rear) and four tyres.
- Sealing: SPI seals, camshaft cover gasket, intake manifold gasket.
- Cooling: heater hoses and thermostat.
- Aesthetics and interior (2018 - Retro Rosso specialist, €797): replacement of badges, decals, gear lever and handbrake gaiters, installation of a set of Bertone S1 black carpets and door seals.
- Transmission and exhaust (2019 - R-Box Motors, €1, 254): lower gearbox seals, complete replacement of the exhaust line, sandblasting and painting of the headers, rectification of the front brake discs.
