Engine built by Andy Cattani at Classic & Race using correct block, steel crank, Arrow rods and cosworth pistons. Uprated cams for race but tractable for road use.
Twin 45 DCOE Webbers, 123 electronic ignition, oil cooler, alloy radiator & electric fan , full stainless steel Alfaholics exhaust. Facet fuel pump.
Alfaholics 'blue' suspension, poly bushes, bilstein shock absorbers, adjustable drop links. Aluminium T bar,
Two sets wheels, one set with Michelin road tyres the other with Dunlop Drezza race tyres. I have owned this lovely Alfa Romeo since March 2018, importing it from Holland, the previous owner had acquired the car in Italy, brought it back to Holland and proceeded to have it modified to fast road specification and painting it this brilliant and attractive shade of blue.
Initially the performance was disappointing. Acknowledged Alfa engine specialist Andy Cattani advised to have an engine built from the ground up. A correct block was found and the engine was built around that using parts as specified above.
With the engine producing some 160bhp the car now performs well. The Alfa has been regular competitor within the UK at circuits such as Goodwood, Donington and Silverstone. We have also ventured to France and taken part in races at the Circuit de Remparts in Angouleme.
