Description
This 1968 MGC Roadster has received significant enhancements to elevate both performance and refinement. A custom ground fast road cam has been matched with a completely rebuilt engine that delivers responsive throttle behaviour and a distinct increase in mid-range torque. The gearbox has also been completely reconditioned for smooth engagement and reliability. Additionally the car has ported flow improvements and a 123 distributor for optimal response.
With excellent bodywork polished wire wheels and complemented by a crisp interior and fresh hood, this MGC strikes the perfect balance between showroom appeal and daily-driver capability.

. GRN 382F was first registered by Preston County Council on May 1, 1968 and despatched to its first owner by Loxhams Garages (Preston) Ltd. The car is unusual in being one of only 20 or so examples remaining from the 92 MGCs that were equipped from new with Borg Warner automatic transmission. It apparently benefited from a ground up restoration between 1986 and 1994, and has recently been treated to a new alternator, starter motor, spark plugs, carpets and door cards. In 2025 the car had further significant mechanical upgrades including the rebuilt engine and reconditioned gearbox.
