History
Originally delivered on 25/ 5/ 1973 to Mr David Miller a US Naval officer in Athens Georgia USA by Porsche Audi Inc in Virginia beach Va with the licence plate 286XOV.
According to the available documentation, the car was sold to its second owner Mr. Graig B Jones who kept it until 1986.
In 1990 the car was imported to the UK by Mr A. J. Minshull who owned it until 2001 under registration number SBF73L.
The car changed ownership twice in the UK and in January 2009 was imported to Greece by the current owner.
Maintenance Documentation
The original service book is correctly stamped by Porsche Virginia Beach Va with periodic service stamps until 1978.
From 1990 till 2008 all yearly Uk Technical Certificates (MOT) are available including a large number of maintenance invoices by various Porsche well known garages verifying the well serviced and maintenance of the car.
In 2010 a full engine rebuild was performed by the current owner including various mechanical works close to €20, 000 in cost bringing the car up to its current excellent condition.
In 2022 the engine valve cover seals and the alternator regulator were replaced.
The latest service was done in March 2026 with an engine oil & filter change including a complete check prior to sale.
The car has covered just 1500kms since the engine rebuild being driven only on weekends.
Body
The car is free of accidents and still in the Emerald Green factory colour.
Had an outer repaint by previous owner and the colour looks very nice with no cracks, blisters or any visible wear.
The chromes look very good with no scratches or dents.
The body is completely rust free all around.
Interior
The upholstery has been replaced by a previous owner and looks very fresh.
Dashboard has no discoloration or cracks
Mechanicals
The engine and gearbox underwent a fully rebuilt in 2010 and are in excellent condition with no leaks or any defaults, detailed description of work is available.
All suspension bushings and steering ball joints were checked and replaced.
Electrics
All electrics are in good working condition. Dashboard instruments, lights, wipers and heating are in good working order.
On the Road
The car feels very pleasantly firm and solid while driving with no noises from suspension or chassis.
Steering feels precise and firm with no vagueness.
The engine pulls strongly from low revs with no hesitation or misfires.
Gearbox shifts are firm and accurate.
