The 1951 Jaguar XK120 OTS (Open Two Seater) is an iconic sports car known for its elegant design and impressive performance. The ‘OTS’ designation refers to the open two-seater configuration, which contributes to the pure driving pleasure this car offers.
In 1951, Jaguar produced both right-hand drive and left-hand drive (LHD) versions of the XK120, with the LHD models primarily intended for export markets such as the United States. The XK120 was available in several body styles, including the OTS (Roadster), Fixed Head Coupe (FHC) and Drop Head Coupe (DHC). Of the total production between 1949 and 1954, 7, 612 OTS models were produced.
The colour “Cream” was one of the original paint options for the XK120. Interestingly, “Cream” and “Old English White” referred to the same colour in the 1950s; only the name was changed.
A well-restored 1951 Jaguar XK120 OTS in the colour “Cream” with a brown leather interior and matching soft top is a rare and sought-after classic. The combination of the elegant colour scheme and authentic design makes it a popular collector's item among car enthusiasts.
The 1951 Jaguar XK120 OTS LHD is a timeless icon with an elegant design and impressive performance. With its powerful 3. 4L inline-six engine and a top speed of 120 mph (hence the name XK120), it was the fastest production car in the world at the time.
