Description
Beautiful example of a pre war 1935 Riley Nine Merlin 4 light all steel streamlined saloon with the aero body kit - often referred as one of the prettiest pre-war saloon designs with a pressed steel body manufactured by Briggs, offering better soundproofing than previous Riley models.
These early four-window models are rare and highly sought after and his is no exception.
The previous owner had it 45 years and went over it with brilliant attention to detail! this consisted of a full restoration resprayed in Rolls-Royce grey, the interior has been reupholstered in British racing green. A really beautiful example in today’s world - this example has the preselector gear box option along side the 1, 087cc four-cylinder engine with bags of history - everything working as it should. runs and drives beautifully mostly dry stored. its a really amazing example beautifully cared for and maintained meticulously.
Only driven to shows ect on sunny days - any question feel free to message id be happy to talk thanks! my number is the details below. previous owner had it for 45 years a real labour of love its had a full restoration throughout, recent engine refresh with twin carbs and head gasket everything working beautifully a real pleasure to drive.
