December 2020, the car underwent a comprehensive 7k restoration / recommission by Andy at MLMotorsport. Work included a full windows out / doors off / interior out repaint, new clutch, alternator, full stainless steel exhaust including new cat, rose petal wheels, colour matched W&P arches, wiring loom/ ECU, lambda sensor, rear subframe, uprated shocks all round, new discs and pads l rear drums, Wipac free form headlamps, stainless steel bumpers front and back, itg filter, heater matrix - The full list work/ parts is available.
Interior is full black leather with walnut dash, Miini Cooper Mota Lita steering wheel, alloy billet cooper gear knob, alloy door furniture and Sony bluetooth head unit.
Fully working Webasto roof.
I've just had a pair of original Cibie spots fitted with the correct chrome mounting bar so no wobble. They turn night into day - see image at the Margate Lido.
Car is always kept dry in garage and only driven during summer months so minimal rust.
