This Daytona Design Edition has been in a barn for about a year. Before it was in daily traffic. It needs a very light restoration. Driver door is damaged by a cyclist. 3 other doors have slight rust. Now, there is no more rust on the body, there were no rust repairs ever done and most importantly, it has NOT received a spray of that ugly thick german black rust prevention that only covers damages. In a few spots the original coating started to peel off. I took care of those spots. Hatch is also very good, as rare as it is. Needs brake lines and more and certainly some paint. Tiny dents here and there. No cracks in dash. No rips or tears in seats, as rare as it comes. :-) This Touring is without any rust repairs and does not need any. Cam and timing belt renewed a little while ago and good to go for long. No noises. Ask for the purr video.
Will be stored in a bone dry old industrial building end of next week. This Touring is a most easy restoration to one of the nicest on a continent and a perfect rust free basis for a $$ build. Never had any rust repairs and does not need any. I had put a new battery and fuel pump in and now it starts, purrs, drives, shifts and stops. All electric functions are working.
