A great opportunity to own an early manufacture series one produced between August 1949 - July 1950.
This example was originally lights behind but at some point it has been converted to lights in-font, but this could be easily be changed back by a new owner.
Being 76 years old she has seen a few modifications but retains the series one charm and many original features.
She looks great and is fun to drive.
This vehicle isn’t for someone looking for a nut-and-bolt restoration or original barn find, but if you want an early series one that is ready to drive away for a summer of fun, or the perfect restoration project, this could be ideal.
It has a petrol 3. 5 litre 1966 Rover V8 engine, probably fitted in the 1980’s and consequently she is very quick and a lot of fun to drive around country lanes.
She has a new custom-made exhaust, new period tyres and canvas tilt.
I have enjoyed her for the past 15 years and now have too many Land Rovers to look after.
