Description
This GPW Jeep was found in a museum in the South of France and then fully restored by a gentleman working for a Jeep specialist in Suffolk for his own use.
A customer of ours, a military vehicle enthusiast, purchased the Jeep in 2015 and had the gearbox rebuilt. Since then it has been kept in a heated garage and used for summer runs and the odd show.
The fit and period detail is very good and the rebuilt engine is smooth with excellent oil pressure. There are a number of original fixtures including a B17 fire extinguisher, and original first aid box, crank handle and hand type tyre inflator. Also fitted are a spade, an axe, a Jerry can and and a weight badge on the front.
The Jeep has mellowed nicely over the years and has a lovely gently worn appearance. There is no rust and it drives very well. In excellent condition throughout and properly rebuilt, it has some nice features and has been owned by a military enthusiast but who has now has a new toy to play with.
