MG midget with plenty of upgrades
Owned the car for 6 years, have done lots of upgrades and replacement parts over the years, selling as sadly It has hardly been driven at all the last 2 years due to other projects and now I need the garage space
The car is very fun, drives like its on rails with plenty of low end power from the 1500 and sounds fantastic. It is a great, fun little car with a unique look ready for the summer.
As seen in the photos the roof has seen better days, the frame itself is good but could do with a new vinyl cover. Also you will notice some rust stains in the passenger footwell (accidently left the window slightly open for a week). Apart from that I have done all the necessary maintenance to keep the car going well and it has been garaged for the last 4 years.
Upgrades/ modifications :
Full Maniflow exhaust system
Poly bushes
Ram Air filter
Lowering front springs, lowering blocks for the rear
Adjustable telescopic rear dampers
Flared arches
8Jx13 Ally cat wheels
Sparco bucket seats
Twin hoop roll cage
Aluminium door cards and floor plates
Aluminium plates to separate the boot area from cabin (see photo of the boot)
3D printed rear light caps to smooth off the body line (see photo)
Other parts / maintenance I have carried out over the last few years :
Rust repair in several areas
Sprayed in Aston Martin racing green
Fully cleaned and rebuilt carbs
New ignition system parts (spark plugs, HT leads, dis. cap, dis. rotor, coil)
New brake discs, pads and shoes
New speedo cable
New clutch slave cylinder
Plus probably more that I cant remember!
I also have 2 unused tyres and a set of 7J x 13 Mamba wheels with tyres that I'm happy to negotiate with the car if wanted.
V5 present, comes with Haynes manual and lots of old invoices showing the history of the car
