1978 Leyland Mini 1000 Pick-Up
Offered is a very rare Leyland Mini 1000 Pick-Up from 1978, which in the 90s underwent a complete and very thorough restoration and is in condition 1-.
The Mini has been in Germany since 1984 and since 1987 in the collection of the current owner, who had the Mini fully and meticulously restored by a specialist firm from 1993 to 1995 (Firma Jürgen Dlugosch, - details above ).
The entire restoration is very well documented.
All photos and invoices are available and demonstrate the enormous time and financial commitment. The total rebuild cost in 1995 was around DM 100, 000!
Since this rebuild the Mini has been well maintained, serviced and driven. The last appraisal from 2018 rated the vehicle at a grade 1. 5.
This Mini Pick-Up is probably the best on the market.
Optically and technically in very good condition. The installed engine with 1, 256cc and 64hp and the ancillary components were replaced during the restoration exclusively with new parts. The suspension was upgraded with SPAX dampers and converted from Cooper S disc brakes.
The Mini sits on 5×10 alloy wheels from Wolfrace. All modifications are registered.
The interior has been clad with high-quality carpet and fine leather. The headlining was fitted with a radio and the dashboard was very high-end a wood trim.
The Mini has a good history, a Heritage certificate and a German registration with an H-plate. The last service was carried out in the summer of 2025. Open-top Mini Pick-Up with canopy or roll bar
