Description
2009 Land Rover Defender 90 Heritage style Soft Top
First registered Sep 2009 as a Defender 90 pick-up, this immaculate example was the subject of a full ground-up restoration by Land Rover specialists Williams Classics in 2021.
Completed to an exacting high standard, the restoration was inspired by the retro Heritage limited edition models that were produced by Land Rover in the final years of the Classic Defender production run.
Finished in Grasmere green pearl metallic - one of Land Rover’s bespoke Heritage colours, the vehicle was fully rebuilt from the ground up, converted to a soft top and fitted with a sand canvas roof (Exmoor Trim), over a fully galvanised steel cage.
16” steel wheels are colour matched to the body colour and shod in Goodyear Wrangler all terrain tyres. Galvanised steel front bumper and Heritage style front grille complete the Heritage transformation, which also sports the authentic ‘Solihull’ badges front and rear, and the HUE 166 logo on the near side front wing, a tribute to the registration plate of ‘Huey’, the very first production Land Rover in 1948.
Underneath, the chassis was completely refurbished during the rebuild, and was subject to a full under seal and wax treatment, guaranteed for 10 years from application.
The vehicle has complete just 10, 000 miles since the restoration, and has an overall mileage of just 72, 000 miles.
Inside the cabin the truck benefits from re-trimmed grey vinyl high back seats, cubby box centre console with armrest and cup holders. The centre dash is finished in body colour matching satin Grasmere green, and houses a SONY DAB/ Bluetooth stereo unit. The original steering wheel has been replaced with a MOMO black leather trimmed sports steering wheel. Behind the cab there are two fold down bench seats accommodating 4 passengers, and a black rubber fitted floor mat.
Presented in beautiful condition with MOT to April 2027, historical paperwork and 2 sets of keys, the Defender has a timeless and restrained classic look oozing retro charm with modern underpinnings - turning heads and drawing admiring glances wherever it goes.
