I bought this beautiful car last year from a collector in the Isle of Man. It was purchased for my girlfriend but the girlfriend has gone and so must the car now as I’m too old and too tall to keep it.
It’s in above average condition throughout and has obviously been well cherished. It comes with a full and very comprehensive Alfa Romeo factory manual together with a selection of photographs showing recent work done which included a full front and rear suspension overhaul - all parts were stripped, shot blasted and powder coated then rebuilt with all new bushes, differential stripped and rebuilt with new bearings and seals, front and rear brake calipers rebuilt with new seals, pads and fittings, new clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder, four new Avon ZT7 tyres and the alloy wheels were stripped and powder coated. As you can see from the photos, the underside is as clean and shiny as the bodywork.
The car also benefits from a factory hardtop which is rare and the soft top is in excellent condition.
When I purchased the car, I had it inspected by Kevin at Sussex Alfa who confirmed that it was a good car with no work required.
The car has an MOT till 23/ 6/ 2026 with no advisories and I would happily put a new MOT on the car at the asking price as it has been stored since the girlfriend left and barely used. As you can see from the photos, this is a well above average Spider which will not disappoint so any inspection is welcome. I am retired so I’m usually available and I’m located between Haywards Heath and Lewes in East Sussex.
