How many 1962 MGBs do you come across these days? I don't believe I have seen another. The MGB drives superbly, it has good acceleration, is nippy, easy to handle and looks fabulous. Its an iconic British sports car in excellent condition and beautiful to drive. I acquired this stunning roadster via Sussex Sports Cars in 2017 (- details above) who described the car as having 'been restored to better than new condition'. While in my possession the car has been kept garaged, MOT'd and serviced, used only on dry days and looked after with TLC. Comes with Heritage Certificate and black tonneau cover. According to the V5 document there were 5 previous owners before me. The car was exported to the USA in December 1962 and reimported to UK in 2000 when it was converted to RHD. The car comes with an extensive history file, log book and photographic record of fully-stripped and sand-blasted restoration undertaken in 2007/ 8. This included full engine rebuild with 5-speed gearbox added. The speedo was zeroed at this time. Several 1st and 2nd prize awards are recorded (2007-2019) in the log book and the car featured in the MGB50 TimeLine at Blenheim Palace in 2012. It also featured in the March 2008 edition of MG Enthusiast Magazine, according to the log book.
