Description
This car was imported by a specialist classic car importer from South Africa and had one owner over there. It has a full service history and was bought by a gentleman who had it for 6 months before the importer bought it back from him as he was ill. I bought it from the NEC classic car show in November ‘25 and it was put in storage until Feb ‘26. The car has been garaged from delivery and not been out in the wet.
Presently has an MOT, although it’s not required, recently been serviced and been under sealed. Body work is in excellent condition with no rust and chrome work is also in good condition. The original bonnet catch lever in the glove compartment is missing, and the lever and cable needs replacing. All tyres including the spare are good. Car starts first time on the starter and runs sweetly. Purchase of my dream classic car has become available and forces sale of this gorgeous beetle. I bought this vehicle as it stood out as an excellent example of its type and year, I thought it looked brand new and the colour makes it stand out from the crowd, its drawn some admirers on the occasions I have taken it out. It’s starts on first turn of the ignition and has a good air cooled tone.
