1971 VW beetle karmann cabriolet 1302
California import, imported in 1980 so registered that year.
Very original solid condition.
Very rare to find in this unmolested condition.
Looks to have had a passenger floor at some point but that is all I can find.
Been under sealed in past which if removed will show a very solid car.
Engine starts eagerly.
Brakes fully replaced as were the track rods.
Good Pirelli tyres.
New exhaust.
When imported the car sat in a heated garage unused since 1981 so it’s helped it survive the British winters.
Roof closes and retracts ok, it looks to be the original so would require replacement if the car was to be used year round.
Carpets removed to show condition of floors but a set does come with car.
Original v5 with car but not showing on dvla, a v62 will need to be submitted which I haven’t done so an extra owner wasn’t added to it, I will help with sorting the v5.
