Description
UPDATE: NEW MOT with only small advisories.
This is a genuine and increasingly rare 1988 L316 Land Rover 90 V8 County Station Wagon. It retains a strong sense of originality, complemented by a light refurbishment that includes restored Rostyle 16” steel wheels, a refreshed roof, and new reproduction ‘County’ grey seats throughout the cabin and load area, complete with four rear tip-up seats.
Period-correct 3. 5L V8 engine, paired to an LT77 5-speed gearbox.
The vehicle has been thoroughly inspected and serviced through our workshop, ensuring it is ready to be enjoyed immediately. For those looking to take things further, we are happy to discuss anything from subtle mechanical upgrades to a full restoration.
Originally introduced in 1983, the Land Rover 90 and 110 models remained in production until 1990, when they were rebranded under the now-iconic Defender name. These models marked a significant evolution for Land Rover, bringing coil spring suspension, permanent four-wheel drive, and a broader range of engine options.
This particular example is finished in Mid Grey (LRC008) with two-tone grey ‘County’ decals, complemented by a grey interior, matching carpeting, and classic Rostyle wheels.
Clearly cherished throughout its life, this charming 90 V8 County presents a wonderful opportunity for a collector or enthusiast alike, and can continue to be enjoyed exactly as intended.
Viewing is strictly by appointment only. All MOT history available on DVLA showing that the vehicle has done approximately 10, 000 miles in the last 10 years.
