Kansas Car"
I imported the car last year, its completely stock and original except for 1 paint job mentioned. It has a few marks and and minor dings (on brightwork ) but is presentable . Could be taken to the next level . Its a completely solid car, there are few cars of this age in this unrestored condition. Trunk mat is original as is the front floor rubber matting. With it being a powerglide its easy to drive and a relief from the manual versions. Given the way it drives and the story behind the car ( see pics) it could well have only 25k miles ?
During my ownership
New correct exhaust system Imported from the states (old one was original and hole ridden)
Full service
Light wire brushing and Lanogaurd underseal
Changed some damaged trim with used pieces
Accessory front chrome bar
New emblems all round (have the originals)
Things still to do
Windscreen has a crack and needs replacing or drive as is for now( I have the new windscreen and seal to go wit the car)
Drivers door needs slight adjusting, does shut but not perfectly.
Vent window has a crack in it (have new seal and glass)This is a one of a kind unmolested survivor, very few classics of this age have such good original interiors. The fact it hasn't been restored shows how solid the car is and has had no corrosion during its lifetime
