I am unfortunately selling my Dodge RAM Van B350 Royal SE. I bought it as a project to work on, but since I’ve recently had the opportunity to buy a house, I sadly have to part ways with it. It passed Slovenian inspections in early March and it is registered to me, and has an oldtimer certificate from the previous owner. It is a Texas import. The engine is a 5. 9L LA engine. The car has been always stored under a roof by me and the previous owners and never driven in snow or rain.
The van is exceptionally well-preserved for its age. As seen in the photos, there is no rust on the underbody, frame, or doors. This is a very solid foundation for a camper or a classic restoration. The body has some smaller dents and bumps, but it had no big damage and has never been fixed with filler or fiberglass anywhere. The paint is mostly original.
The engine was refurbished 2 years ago by the previous owner, and all of these parts have been changed: new carburetor, new radiator, new battery, new ignition coils, wires and loom, new brake parts, new distributor, new and fixed electrical wiring and other small things.
The interior is in good condition with some age-related wear. All seats are original, they slide and fold, the rear bench can flip around or fold into a bed and has seatbelts. The dashboard and doors are all original too, power windows work. There are a few missing trim pieces. The steering wheel and steering head have been changed, I have both originals too. The rear interior has been stripped, and I have all the panels, roof lining, carpet and bolts.
Next to all of that, I have a lot of spare parts: original wheel and radio, new water pump, some original parts, a lot of new seals for all parts of the van, original book for the van, electrical schemes, new air and oil filter and more small parts.
The automatic transmission has failed at the overrunning clutch (one-way clutch). The inside frame of the transmission has snapped, and a qualified mechanic took the whole transmission apart and it is all in boxes with every part (see image). No other part of the transmission is damaged.
The car stood for a few years under a tarp and because of that there are a few spot rust holes on the roof. The largest one is 2-3cm, and there are some smaller ones too. This can be fixed easily - that is why the roof is sanded down and has an anti-rust coating over it.
The car is currently not driveable because of the transmission and the removed starter motor, so it will need to be picked up with a tow truck or a trailer. I am located in Slovenia, and I am available for any additional questions or for a viewing of the van.

It also passed general inspection late February.
The previous owner did a lot of engine work including a new carb, radiator, and ignition parts, so the engine is very strong. The interior is the original Royal SE version with the folding bed-seats, and I have all the panels and carpets saved in the garage. I also have a huge pile of spare parts like new seals, filters, and a water pump that come with the car.
I am only selling it because I am buying a house and I don't have the time or money to finish it anymore. It is a project because the transmission failed and is currently disassembled in boxes, and there are some small surface rust spots on the roof that are already protected and ready for a simple fix. It needs to be picked up with a trailer, but for someone who wants a rust-free V8 Dodge that hasn't been ruined by salt or bad repairs, this is it. I am open to honest offers because I need to move on with my house project.
