Description
1966 Fiat 1500 L, in grey with brown (tan) upholstery, and what makes it special? It belonged to a single family and has never undergone a restoration, or any minimal work that would compromise originality, apart from routine maintenance, to keep it always in full working order. Used in the early years of its history as a chauffeur-driven car, but in reality it never did much mileage, then registered to a private individual, and finally registered to one of the daughters, perhaps the most attached to this car, or to the father, but now they have decided to sell, because they would like someone to take care of it as much as the father did for this car. At the moment there is a scratch on the left rear wing, which sadly was made recently, and will be repaired only after the sale, because the car must be seen as it is, in the full splendour of an original car, never repainted, chrome intact, ... Today, just to experience sitting in the driver's seat of this Fiat 1500 L, a car that at the time was only for affluent families or for corporate use, we have covered about eighty kilometres. Certainly at the time the 1500 engine wasn't the most sought after, given the car's weight, but for the use we make of it now, and with the care we dedicate to cars of this age, it is by no means bad, indeed it has held up well, both in urban traffic and on the open road. Obviously it is not suited to sporty driving, but I don't think it was designed for that; rather, comfort was the prerogative of those who conceived and then built it. Visible here in Treviso, Italy. If required, we can organise transport to your home
