My E-Type FHC has now been in my possession for 14 years.
According to its chassis number, it is one of the last from the Series II range and thus one of the last 2-seaters and one of the last six-cylinder models.
It originally comes from Florida, had four previous owners over the decades and came to me in 2012 into my collection.
The Jaguar was in very good condition at purchase, apart from the engine and clutch.
The bodywork in its original lacquer with plenty—perhaps a touch too much—patina was at that time completely rust-free and was professionally repainted here in its original colour back to British Racing Green.
The engine was rebuilt and the clutch renewed. The gearbox did not require overhaul.
My E-Type was regularly serviced and regularly passed its MOT without any faults.
The Jag has matching numbers and matching colours, the Heritage certificate is available.
Driven at various classic car events and excursions.
It never fails to bring a smile to passers-by and a thumbs-up, and will surely give the new owner, perhaps you ;-), plenty of joy.
