This 1964 E-type Fixed-Head Coupe was originally purchased by a Florida-based customer. Repatriated some forty years later, it has been with its latest owner for thirteen years. Used regularly and enjoyed, the history file demonstrates that the car has always been maintained throughout this owner’s tenure.
Most recently the car has had an extensive refurbishment, including fresh paintwork and any metalwork issues addressed – most notably inner and outer sills and the boot floor, not to mention a significant amount of mechanical overhaul. The owner was keen to retain the character, and usability of the car, so many of the original components were retained rather than being replaced.
The car is finished in the classic E-type colour of Carmen Red with biscuit colour trim. It is perfect for someone looking for an E-type that can be used and enjoyed, perhaps for European touring or just a sunny Sunday afternoon.
The E-type will be supplied with 12 months warranty as well as undergoing thorough preparation in our own workshop here at Jaguar Land Rover Classic.
