a very rare and special bike!! a Norton slimline frame from a 1962 Norton ss, fitted with a 1937 Rudge 500 special engine, borane ali rims. the whole frame was rebuilt with new bushes, shocks, tyres etc, the engine rebuilt with all new parts as needed and rebored with BSA gold star piston, gear box overhauled by a Rudge specialist, clutch is the latest of the Rudge type, gearing selected for a good performance, it will top over 90. the frame has additional lugs welded on the bottom rails and head steady fitted to top frame, extra breather of reed type fitted to rocker box, and 28mm Amal mk 2 carb.
a really exciting ride, road holding was always perfect with these frames, and a 4 valve Rudge engine was always a real power plant, this is exciting to ride!!i have had many Rudge s and Norton's, my wish was to get the best of both worlds, hence A NUDGE!! sadly its now to heavy for me and i am worried when i go to take it out at my age, so it must go to someone who would appreciate a special
