Description

Norcati Manufacturing Project “BARGAIN” including bikes, parts, jigs, trade patent and all tooling.

For sale is this unique project/ business opportunity. Due to ill health in a retirement partnership we are now selling this development of a range of motorcycles (Ducati engines in Norton frames) to go into small production, two models were been produced a café racer and a high pipe street fighter version.
A first prototype mk1 900ss engine bike was sold for £25, 000 10 years ago. During the development the mk2 café racer which is the finished bike offered in this listing, the engine was moved further forward in the frame which improved visuals and handling and a in house jig was built for Manx Norton style frames. The oil tank is a dummy, it houses the lithium battery, starter solenoid and a small isolator switch which is accessed through the Monza oil filler cap. Sadly due to ill health in the partnership we can not continue so the full project is for sale, and would love to see it go into production and would be happy to give as much help as possible to the new owner.
We trailered the bike to Stafford Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show October 2025 for it’s first showing out of our workshop onto a show stand there, and it received loads of attention and positive feedback and 2 offers of £25, 000 for just the bike, plus 2 judges awarded a Highly Commended Award.
There are too many parts to list but basically the buyer will get:-

No 1 is a 1100cc very low mileage Ducati (under 2k) unit in café spec as per photos in the listing, this was to have been our demo bike, the bike is currently on sorn with a V5C. The bike is on new flat slide carbs instead of original injection which looks more in keeping with its style and easier to maintain for the enthusiast owner. We were going to get it rolling Road jetted to get it spot on as we have just used the carbs as supplied from Alan Bower who estimated jet size for us. This would be recommended before Road use otherwise this bike is finished.

No2 is a 50% finished (engine and suspension are fitted in the complete frame) 750ss very low mileage Ducati (under 3. 5k) unit, street fighter spec, new carbs, new alloy 3. 5 gallon fuel tank, new front and rear suspension, anodised alloy rims and hub, stainless spokes, twin disc front and single rear, matching anodised clip-ons, all components for high pipes exhaust, new instruments, new dummy oil tank/ battery box and seat with most parts to finish with V5C.

No3 is a 900ss very low mileage Ducati (under 4k) unit. Café race spec, new top end fairing, new carbs, complete frame pre bent components ready for jig assembly, swing arm, new front and rear suspension, new seat dummy oil tank/ battery box, clip-ons, new Robinson 4LS double drum front brake and conical vented rear (both wheels fully rebuilt including tyres and sprocket), with most parts to finish with V5C.

No4 is a 648 very low mileage Ducati (2k) unit street fighter spec complete frame ready for jig assembly, swing arm, conical rear hub, rear suspension, seat, dummy oil tank/ battery box, fairing etc.

No5 is a top quality tig welder with accessories and some rods included.

No6 12 ton hydraulic pipe bender.

No7 is a HD frame jig which is capable of producing standard Norton feather bed or Norcati frames also swing arm jig and frame tube cutting patterns.

No8 is a 12” electric cut off saw.

No11 is a Ducati engine stand.

No12 is electric cable, harness material, connectors, relay switches etc.

No16 Karcher power washer.

No17 Laptop.

No18 1 ton mobile hydraulic lift. for jig work or can be used as a bike lift.

No19 Number plate making tools, including plates, numbers/ letters.

No20 Norcati sign/ light/ tee shirts. This would make a superb manufacturing opportunity for a individual entrepreneur or to expand a existing business with the potential of completing the £100, 000 + of existing stock, after you have sold the first two bikes you would have your investment back and on 100% profit from there on! This is a genuine bargain for someone as all the above listed is just £50, 000.
