I bought this from a guy who had spent Lockdown restoring it. Since then I have replaced all the engine oil seals, fitted electronic ignition and most importantly saved it from a nasty case of cafe racer conversion (new handlebars, a proper front mudguard and a new standard exhaust system). As you will see from the photos there is still a plastic rear mudguard and I've had to improvise a bit of the exhaust bracket. I've also fitted a new front brake caliper and braided hose (a new original set up also available for the purists).
The bike starts and runs very well and could be MOT'd if required. It is zero road tax and MOT exempt.
I'm selling because I'm 6'2" and its just a bit too small for me. It's a good honest bike with a bit of genuine patina but still looks great in the sunshine.
