Description
This Jaguar 420 was used by the first owner until he passed away in 1980. The car was then stored unused until the second owner took it on in 2012 and embarked on a restoration. Work carried out included petrol tanks and mounts, engine and gearbox rebuild, rebuilt front and rear subframes. A new braking system was fitted, along with shock absorbers, radiator, header tank, hoses, headlining, Wilton carpets, electronic ignition. The underside of the car and internal cavities have been Waxoyl treated and a respray has been completed. In all circa £23, 000 was spent. Comes with brochure, handbook, quantity of restoration invoices and V5. Registered as an historic vehicle, therefore tax and MOT exempt. Despite this, an MOT has been carried out, valid to October 2026 with no advisories present.
