Lambretta SX 200. Registered in UK 1967…. 7 former keepers and V5 in my name. Frame and engine are the same as when it rolled off the production line new in 1967. Historic vehicle so Tax & MoT Exempt.
The scooter has had a full nut and bolt restoration with an engine rebuild replacing bearings and seals, new super race crank, cylinder/ piston kit (225cc Mugello) with a fast road tune matching inlet/ outlets carried out by Charlie Edmond’s. Longer stroke crank making it a 230cc. And a 30mm PHBH Dellorto carb with power jet kit fitted.
Accessories include an original rear carrier (chromed by London Chroming)
Super Gandolfi seat (Rimini Lambretta sourced) which are very rare and was recovered in full grain leather from Rimini Lambretta.
The whole scooter is original except the following items:
Mugello 225cc cylinder and piston (230cc).
Super Race crank.
Delortto PHBH 30mm carburettor and foam air filter.
Fast flow fuel tap.
An expensive 12 pole Ducati electronic ignition.
JL3 expansion pipe.
Handlebar grips.
Reverse pull front brake.
Hagon rear suspension (including original box and adjustment spanner).
Cylinder head cowl and flywheel cowl chromed at London Chroming(receipts)
Engine pulls really well and has a good power band. This was all dyno’d and paperwork showing results come with all the other documents.
All the work to this scooter has been done professionally by 2 of the UK’s most reputable dealers. Gearbox is original to the scooter and is in good condition - No chipped teeth on first gear.
There is a very comprehensive and extensive amount of receipts and invoices for all the work since I have owned it since 2003(23 years) and will accompany the sale. Old Mot’s and tax discs also.
The bodywork underwent a full restoration with TVR cherry Red & BMW pepper white colours.
All mileage is accurate as can be seen from all the old MoT’s.
Like I say the paperwork that comes with this Lambretta charts its history very well and is a real collectors item and very genuine. Everything on this scooter works.
