The early-1960s Lambretta Li 125 Series 2 is one of the most elegant and historically important scooters ever built. Manufactured by Innocenti in Milan from October 1959 to November 1961, it represented the final refinement of the rounded, post-war Lambretta design before the more angular and modern Series 3 arrived in 1961
A simple, charming machine, and very much a product of 1950s Italy, it was a popular choice in getting Italy mobilised after WW2 and saw over 110, 000 examples produced
Still on its original 6-volt charging system, the bike has been set-up by our knowledgeable scooter enthusiast vendor, who is reducing his collection
This is an extremely original bike that has been fitted with a period double seat (no doubt to aid family transportation)
Spent most of its life in Italy but now UK-registered with a current V5C - correctly classed as Historic
A superb candidate for restoration or leave as is and enjoy the glorious patina acquired from a life in the sunshine. Would be an ideal paddock run-about for Goodwood or similar events
