I have owned this car for nearly 10 years, I had purchased it from Matthewsons, before they were famous, in Jan 2017. It has been garaged, regularly used, maintained and consistently MOT'd. I have the heritage certificate and this is a 'numbers matching' car. The V5 records 4 previous owners.
The mileage is not verified, but the MOTs record 20 something thousand since at least 2011.
The car spent most of its life in the north east until it returned to Abingdon when I bought it.
The car came with functioning overdrive, rear telescopic shock absorbers and a stainless steel exhaust.
During my ownership it has had;
New clutch, pressure plate, master and slave cylinders.
Front brake discs, calipers & rear drums and cylinders.
Reconditioned dash panel & speaker console.

A MOT for the next 12 months can be arranged when sold. I am an ex MG factory employee (apprentice) and have owned several MGs over the years, this has been one of the best. It has taken me on numerous trips including a tour of Brittany a couple of years ago.
It has an older paint job which is holding up well with only a few blemishes, scratches etc, it polishes up very well. The underside has a robust coating of under seal (popular back in the day!) that has held up very well and done its job over the years.
The car has always driven well and has never let me down. The new lightened flywheel makes for a very responsive engine. Other new components, especially the starter motor and fuel pump, make the car very nice.
I am only now selling as I have completed the full restoration of another C and I cannot justify having 2, as much as I'd like to!
