Description
Laverda 2T Chott, 1974. Totally original and wonderfully patinated bike with only 1652Km’s from new (just over 1000 miles), mostly I suspect when it was new, so whilst it’s not totally immaculate the scars are genuine and it’s exactly as it should be, no modifications and looks lovely. It’s all good to go, running and riding well and UK registered. The Chott was a fairly serious stab at an off-road competition machine and features Laverda’s own 2-stroke 5-speed motor with twin plug and direct generating ignition, chrome moly frame with 3-way adjustable headstock, Cerani suspension, fully enclosed chain, magnesium hubs and crank cases etc. Some good spares included eg. gasket set, 1st oversize piston, chain gaiters etc. A very rare bike in Laverda terms especially in the UK , and as close to a factory original bike as you will likely find. It has been featured in a classic dirt bike YouTube film - details above
Lots more detail pics and info available upon enquiry, this is my own bike with V5 in my name and an extremely reluctant sale. Bike is in Scotland, £3850
