Description
A really well looked after and loved S2000 in Nurburgring Blue, with the deep blue interior (rare on S2000s). This car was manufactured in 2004, so it's the more desirable AP2 variant, but comes in the lower tax bracket than the later ones. With full service history and MOT till December 2026, this car mechanically is in remarkable condition, the gearbox is extremely smooth and a joy to use. The brakes and handbrake work well, and have good life in them; the tyres are Bridgestone's all round, and again have lots of live in them. The engine has never missed a beat while I've owned it, and smoothly goes in to the VTEC range to give you the great scream this car offers. The paint is in good condition for the age, there are a few signs of wear but overall it's very good. The same goes for the interior, there are some signs of wear on the leather, but overall it's in very good condition for a 22 year old car. There are no signs of rust on the chassis as well, which is again quite remarkable for these cars which can be prone to rusting. The hood was replaced only a few years ago by the previous owner, and remains nice and water tight, with no signs of wear.
I've had the pleasure of owning this car for 2 years, and have really looked after it, having done the servicing myself (worth noting how incredibly easy this is to do!) and made sure to give it a good clean underneath every time it's been out in not nice weather. I purchased this car from a delightful female owner, who was very reluctant to sell it, as she had owned the car since 2010 (proof of this is available). Before her there have been 6 other owners, the assumption is that the car exchanged hands every summer so that plenty of people could enjoy some roof down action. This car feature full service history prior to me owning it, and it really shows based on how smooth the mechanics still feel to this day, again all paperwork is available.
This car will also be sold with the personalised numberplate (S200 CDP), but still has the original numberplates if a change is wanted. Both keys are available and both work well. I am selling as I've recently purchased a quieter and bigger car for my commute; it's hard for me to sell this Honda though, I've had so much enjoyment from it, but am excited to share that fun with someone new!Personally I had always wanted an S2000, and am so pleased I had the chance. I wanted a very good example when purchasing this car, and feel incredibly lucky to have found this one. It's never let me down, and I've had hours of fun with the roof down and enjoying the VTEC engine and gearbox, which really have to be experienced to be appreciated!
The colour for both the exterior and interior are brilliant, the interior is not too in-your-face, and is a wonderful touch to the car which I've really loved about it.
