Description
For sale is my 2006 (06) Nissan Primera SX finished in KY5 Techno Grey Metallic.
I am the third owner (since Feb 26), with the first owner being Nissan Worthing. The second owner purchased this car as a pre reg with 2 miles on the clock just a matter of days after being first registered.
MOT is valid until Feb 2027 and was last serviced in Feb 2026. The original book pack comes with this car and there are 9 Nissan Worthing service stamps in the book with the latest stamped service being in 2015. The previous owner sadly passed away in 2015 and that's why the car has only covered 5k miles since then and hadn't been serviced again until this year when the family finally decided to part with the car.
The car definitely isn't pefect, but for a 20 year old car I would truly say this is one of the best examples still around. This is becoming a rare but nobody cares sort of car and that's why it stood out to me. The front bumper has some minor damage and there's some scuffs and dents around the car but nothing that a good buff and a trip to the dent man wouldn't sort.
Unfortunately as I recently discovered the A/ C doesn't work and the tracking is a bit off too. At speed the steering does wobble but i've been driving it like this with no trouble. It would need looking at in the future however.
There is a full set of 2019 date stamped Avon tyres on the car which still have plenty of tread. They are still in good condition with no cracking on them.
Car has working cruise control and even the sat nav still works. The speakers are even quite decent too. Clutch works well and the gear change is smooth and truly shifts like a new modern car would. Certainly feels brand new compared to my quarter million mile Jaguar X-Type!
Floor mats are aftermarket replacements off Amazon but other than that the car is very original. Even has the orignial GardX sticker in the window from the Nissan Dealer and the front plate is still that from Nissan Worthing.
The only paperwork I have is the book pack with the service book, the bill of sale from when I bought it, and the invoices for the service and new callipers it had earlier this year. It's clear to see though that this car was cherished by its previous owner. It must have meant a lot to the family for them to keep it around for a decade after his passing. I have always loved the P12 Primera. My grandparents had one when I was young and really liked how futuristic it looked and felt. This example being so nice and low mileage really brings me back to my childhood. I really do believe this will be a classic one day. They are a very overlooked and forgotten car and that's why I think this one is so special. It's not a museum piece, but a very usable example that could easily pass as a car half its age.
I'd love to hold onto this forever as it's a (weird) childhood dream car of mine, but if someone else can appreciate it for what it is, I'd be happy to let it go.
Not necessarily priced to sell as I'd quite like to keep it, but for a good offer, it could be yours :)
