I have owned the Stag for over 22 years, it has 7 previous keepers. I have looked after and maintained the car myself with a little help from specialists along the way. I have always kept the car mot`d current test expires 13th October. Numerous receipts for work carried out over the years including an engine rebuild which included unleaded head upgrades with valve stem oil seals, a few years ago. There are a few bits a pieces of bodywork that the new owner might want to tidy up, i. e door bottoms, a small bit near the rear tonneau cover etc but that said it is a very presentable, reliable car and has been used regularly, last continental trip was to Austria in 2023 and has never let me down and has never overheated despite having a standard fan and radiator.
She has a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive and also has a slightly higher ratio rear diff for more relaxed cruising. The soft top is in good order, there is also a hard top which I have never used and would require some work before using. Tyres are all good quality Yokohama`s mounted on slightly wider Minilight Replica`s the spare being a standard Stag alloy. Speedo is showing 72000 miles, but suspect that is incorrect.
Iam only selling as the Stag is not getting the use it once did and I have other Cars that are needing my attention. A good honest Stag, needing a little paintwork to bring it up to standard but mechanically very good. Loads of old MOT`S going back to 1999 but if you check on line you can see the history.
