Description
This example was supplied new to Japan and imported to the UK in 2016, where it has remained in enthusiast ownership since.
It has covered just 66, 000 miles and is presented in exceptional, unrestored condition.
Exceptionally solid and corrosion-free throughout, with none of the issues typically seen on UK-supplied cars – a rare attribute for a 164 Q4. Unlike many UK examples, this car has clearly benefited from Japan’s dry climate and absence of road salt.
The body, underside, arches and structural areas all present extremely well, reflecting careful ownership and dry storage as part of a private modern classic collection.
The interior is equally impressive, with clean, well-preserved leather and minimal wear throughout.
The car drives exactly as it should, with the engine, gearbox and four-wheel-drive system all operating correctly, and no warning lights present.

Increasingly few genuinely corrosion-free, low mileage and unrestored Q4s remain, particularly in this condition and specification.
A rare opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, exceptionally well-preserved Alfa Romeo 164 Q4 in outstanding, unrestored condition.
Happy to assist European or overseas buyers with collection and export arrangements if required. The Alfa Romeo 164 Q4 represents the ultimate evolution of the 164 platform – combining the legendary 3. 0-litre Busso V6 with a sophisticated ‘Viscomatic’ four-wheel-drive system developed in conjunction with Steyr-Puch, a six-speed Getrag manual gearbox, and a wider-track, adjustable sports suspension setup.
Producing 230bhp, the Q4 delivers both performance and usability, with a top speed of approximately 245 km/ h. It remains a unique model in Alfa Romeo’s history – the only four-wheel-drive Alfa to wear Pininfarina-designed coachwork.
Just over 1, 200 examples were produced, making this one of the rarest and most technically interesting modern classic Alfas. It's likely one of the finest surviving Alfa Romeo 164 Q4 examples currently available.
