I bought the car as a project in December 2022, since when I've carried out the mechanical repairs required to get this increasingly rare limited edition back on the road. Now with an advisory-free MOT that expires 19/ 4/ 27, work includes:

Having spent around £2k on parts, the time's come for a new owner to care for the MG and continue its improvement. The no welding required, and during my numerous hours of being underneath it I found no evidence of any ever having neen carried out. Apart from the invoices I've gathered there's no previous service history with the car so it would benefit from a new cambelt & waterpump, and an oil change (new oil filter will come with the car, along with a fuel filter and a Dellorto throttle body & sensor). A K&N performance air filter is fitted, which has been cleaned and re-oiled.
The soft top needs replacing owing to a knife cut (currently hidden under Gorilla tape!) administered during time with the previous owner. The paintwork is generally in good order overall, although the bodywork could do with some cosmetic attention here & there, including one small-ish dent on the n/ s rear wheel arch and three more on the sill.
The interior is in good, clean order, with general wear you'd expect from 28 years of service (no rips or tears to the leather seats). The car starts on the button, runs really well and is great fun to drive.
