A very nice sand-cast 750 GT.
Frame number 7502.. engine number 7502, matching according to the Ducati bevelheaven register.
It is one of the rare sand-cast crankcase bikes from the first series of 400 made, of which only a fraction has survived in good condition and it has unique parts and details specific to this earliest series GTs, such as the large circular recesses in the sump originally designed for the footpeg mounts. The stronger sand-cast crankcases were used for the race bikes that won the famous Imola race in 1972, and the sand-cast 750 GTs are amongst the most collectible of the Ducati early L-twins.
This 750GT was fully restored, including the mechanicals, a few years ago in Germany and is in excellent condition. It has been gently ridden on a regular basis since then.
It still has its original Borrani wheels and Conti mufflers, unusual some 50+ years later.
The original Amal carbs are provided in addition to the Dellortos PHF32.

It is now registered in Belgium as an oldtimer, has a valid technical control certificate, is fully serviced and is stored in a closed garage.
