This is my 1986 Renault Super 5. I am selling this car as I am training to become a teacher and cannot afford to keep it. I have owned the car for 1 year and have covered around 2500 miles in that time.
It has just passed its final Mot, it will need only 6 months tax before sending off for a Tax and Mot exemption certificate.
It has had 4 new matching tyres this year along with lots of other work to ensure that it was on the button.
Recently it needed a new inner and outer sill. This work along with all other work was carried out by Renault Specialist Millers Garage in Falmouth.
I am selling the car without the sill being painted as I would prefer to take less for the vehicle and let the new owner decide how they would prefer to do it. It still looks tidy unpainted.
This car has been garaged and only driven up and down the road during winter to make sure that everything is in good working order.
Problems:
- Interior has scratches on the plastic and could do with being painted
-a few small marks, very good for 40 years old.
- Sill needs to be painted
Good Stuff
-5 speed manual gearbox.
- Engaging fun car to drive.

-non leaking sunroof.
- Early Renault super 5 in release car specification.
- Comes with very rare mudflaps and early foglight bumper.
It isn't perfect but is a very tidy example and with a few jobs doing to it, it would be even better.
This is an enthusiast own car and has been well cared for and worshipped.
It also comes with lots for spares.
original no fog light front bumper, original steering wheel and gear knob, spare parcel shelf, spare good condition cam cover, original airbox (K&N filter currently fitted). 1/ 3 tin of Renault gold/ beige paint.
As well as a full Renault 5 , 5 door interior, with trim, as most trim pieces are the same.
