The model we are presenting is an R5 Turbo II equipped Maxi with F2000 technical passport competition-spec that has benefited from a complete restoration of the highest quality, offering absolutely impeccable presentation.
This rally car is road-legal and can be used as a collector's vehicle.
Mechanical condition:
This Renault 5 Turbo 2 has had its engine bored out to 1432 cc, equipped with Porsche-type fuel injection, large aluminium radiator with dual fans. The turbo fitted is a Migné with boost pressure adjustment on the dashboard.
The vehicle is equipped with "Tour de Corse" spec front and rear suspension with original Maxi Speedline magnesium wheels.
Shock absorbers serviced by DA Competition along with a flat undertray.
Dog-engagement gearbox 9x35 45% limited-slip differential, water diffuser on intercooler.
The chassis has been reinforced with Renault Sport reinforcement panels.
Aesthetic condition:
This Renault 5 Turbo 2 has received a Jean Ragnotti Maxi body kit. The fibreglass kit is in perfect condition, the doors are Turbo I aluminium. The vehicle shows no damage. The paintwork is impeccable and the stickers are faithful to the R5 Turbo II Maxi.
The interior of this R5 has been modified to accommodate a 6-point roll cage and two Sparco Pro 2000 seats along with all the gauges connected to the proper functioning of the vehicle.
